    At present, the commonly used fire alarm means include manual inspection, point smoke detector, linear beam, flame detector, image detector and so on. Among them, the manual inspection accuracy is high but the efficiency is low, and the inspector is easy to produce fatigue in the inspection process; the point-type smoke detector and linear beam are fixed sensitivity, which often requires a lot of smoke, and the fire will continue to burn for a certain time before sending out the alarm signal; the flame detector and image detector are often fire to a certain extent before they can identify and send out the alarm model.

    VI. Areas requiring special protection in cold storage

    VII. Selection of cold storage fire detectors 
    Because the temperature of cold storage is usually -18,-25,-30℃, and some frozen warehouses are usedat-35℃,traditionalpoint-type smoke detectors, dual-band image detectors, flame detectors, optical cross-section detectors, infrared linear beam smoke detectors,etc.cannot work normally and reliably in this environment.

    VIII. Detector installation requirements
    1. If the detector is installed outside,thelargetemperature difference between inside and outside is easy to cause airflow failureandicing phenomenon, and the sampling tube will be deformed and bent,thus causing the machine to fail to work normally and causing equipment failure;
    2,the detector is placed outdoors, need to perforate the insulation wall, destroy the structure of the cold storage, affect the insulation effect of the cold storage; 
    3,aspirating smoke detectorshould be installedin the cold storage, to avoid icing and failure due toexcessive temperature difference,no need to punch in the insulation wall, can reduce the amount of work to the maximum extent and ensure reliable and stable work of the detector.
    IX. Selection of sampling tube material
    The material of the sampling tube depends on the installation site. For example, a sampling tube mounted on a ceiling may use a longer sampling tube suitable for a low temperature environment and an internal environment where the temperature fluctuates frequently.     X. Requirements for construction technology
    Arctic Foxsampling tube systems should be installed as far away from the building structure as possible. Contact or close to the building structure, it is easy to condense or freeze. Although the working temperature in the cold storage is generally lower than0° C, there will still be a large temperature difference due to heat radiation, convection or conduction.
    Freezers intermittently send cold air far below the design operating temperature of the refrigerator, about-35to-40. If the sampling tube is installed directly in this cold air stream, the temperature will become very low. When the freezing device is not working, the sampling tube takes a certain time to reach the cold storage temperature, so it may freeze. When installing the sampling tube, try to avoid this cold air flow.
    The sampling hole should be punched on the side of the sampling tube, so that condensation or frost is not easy to accumulate. If it is punched at the bottom of the sampling tube, it is easy to be blocked.
    Sampling tubes should be at least 300 mm from ceilings or wallsto reduce heat conduction from these surfaces.
    XI. Daily maintenance of equipment
    In low temperature environment, after using the pipeline for a period of time, some frost will be produced more or less at the suction hole. We have used special airflow deceleration diaphragm and antifreeze clamp when laying the equipment pipeline. It can produce vibration with the back blowing system to shake off the frost at the sampling hole, prevent the frost from blocking the sampling hole and the generation of bacteria stove, and ensure that the pipeline is normal and the airflow runs smoothly.
