Sampling tube opening requirements
Accordingtothe Code for Design, Construction and Acceptance of Suction Smoke Detection and Alarm System, in order to avoid impurities remaining in the sampling pipe, the sampling hole shall be drilled first, and the debris around the sampling hole and in the pipeline shall be treated before adhesion with the installed pipe network.
During installation, the sampling tube should be fixed first, and then the sampling hole should be drilled. This sequence is based on considerations of cleanliness within the sampling tube. If the sampling hole is drilled first, the untreated hole may become a channel for dust and impurities, which will be very difficult to clean once they enter the sampling tube and may affect the sensing effect of the detector. Therefore, according to the standard process, the sampling pipe network should be laid out and fixed according to the design drawing first, so as to ensure that each area can be effectively monitored.
After fixing the sampling tube, great care must also be taken when drilling. Specialtools shall be used in the drilling process to ensure that the size, shape and position of sampling holes meet the design standards. Once drilling is complete, the area around the sampling hole and any debris that may have been generated in the pipe must be cleaned thoroughly. This step is critical because it prevents any debris or impurities from entering the installed pipe network and adversely affecting detector performance.
